Analog Vs Digital Signals

A signal is a means of transmitting information. Signals can be classified into analog and digital based on their nature.


Analog Signal:


An analog signal is a continuous signal that varies over time.


It can have an infinite number of values within a given range.


Common examples: Human voice, radio waves, and temperature variations.



Digital Signal:

A digital signal is a discrete signal that represents data using binary (0s and 1s).


It takes only specific values and is not continuous.


Common examples: Computer data, digital audio, and video signals.
